TREES TO SEAS TOUR

Our most popular Full Day Tour. Experience ancient and enormous Sequoia sempervirens, uncrowded beaches, and other treasures of the Redwood Coast. This is  a great adventure to get a true sense of the beauty that makes up the North Coast of California. On this adventure, we combine a mixture of old growth forest with stunning coastal zones. Where we visit strongly depends on the desires and interests of each group, our experienced Naturalists adjust the routes group to group for the right adventure experiences!

TIDE-POOL ADVENTURE TOUR

Many fascinating things can be found in our local tide-pools. The intertidal zones of Redwood National Park are some of the most diverse, alien, and beautiful areas to explore! Discover our local sea stars, urchins, anemones, crabs, and other creatures and seaweeds. Our tide-pool adventures are perfect for any age, but timing and availability will depend on appropriate tides.

FOREST BATHING EXPERIENCES

Forest Bathing is the practice of spending mindful time in the forest. Originating in Japan as “shinrin-yoku”, this activity has been shown to have a plethora of benefits to our bodies, physically and mentally. Redwood Adventures Naturalist guides will help your group learn about the wonders of this practice, during a mindful, slow-paced forest experience. This is a great way to slow down and feel the forest more deeply as you learn of the wonders of the ancient Redwoods.

This program is perfect for those that want a calm, slow, and peaceful experience. On these adventure experiences, we tend to not walk more than half a mile. Our time is spent sauntering in the forest, sitting, contemplating, and breathing.

FERN CANYON TOUR

**Only Available from October 1st – June 14th**

Fern Canyon is an awesome sight. This picturesque and primeval-looking setting, used in the filming of several movies, is a must-see part of Redwood National and State Parks.  Five species of ferns grow on its vertical walls.  Its waterfalls, meandering creek, and meadows are even more amazing when interpreted by one of our expert guides.

The full-day version of this tour can include hiking to or from the canyon on some of the parks’ many trails.  Except in summer, this tour includes some wading.

BACKPACKING AND OVERNIGHT TOURS

We are happy to enable your group overnight experiences by utilizing our guides, knowledge, and permits. Our Guides are happy to lead, train, and educate first-time backpackers on backcountry and leave no trace techniques to stay comfortable and happy for a night outdoors. These can be intimidating to try on your own, but life-changing experiences when handled safely and responsibly.

Our Naturalist Guides will help to facilitate an Overnight experience for your group. Depending on interest, our Guides can help lead your group, handle planning and preparations, and take care of any logistics.

Overnight Backpacking Trips or Overnight Campouts at Gold Bluffs Beach, Redwood Creek Trail, and more!

Please note: Any two half-day tours can be combined for the price of an all-day tour.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any activity due to inclement weather, insufficient participation, or other conditions beyond our control. In the event that Redwood Adventures, 7 Valley Green Camp Rd., Orick, CA 95555 cancels an activity, all funds collected are fully refundable or fully transferable. Refunds will not be issued outside these parameters except in rare situations and then only with the approval of the manager. This policy is necessary to ensure proper participant:guide ratios and the highest quality programs and to secure the lowest prices from the agencies with which we work.

No refunds or transfers will be issued within five days prior to an activity. Refund requests more than five days before the activity will be assessed a 25% or $20.00 fee, whichever is greater. A booking may be transferred only once. No refund is possible after a transfer.
